Preservation of evidence

We secure technical evidence and deliver a well-founded assessment of whether liability claims can be asserted or rejected according to the Product Liability Act.

Manufacturers are liable for their products regardless of fault if:

  1. the damage is the result of a faulty product or
  2. the fault is the cause of the damage (double causality)

According to the Product Liability Act, liability claims arise from the five (technical) types of faults:

  1. Development faults
  2. Instruction faults
  3. Design faults
  4. Faults in product monitoring
  5. Manufacturing faults

Some examples can be found here.

Often, small causes can be responsible for major damage. We secure technical evidence and deliver detailed assessments.
